Driving America’s Story
Four hundred years ago, a ship called Mayflower carried 102 brave passengers from England to the New World. That voyage and the events that happened hereafter are cornerstone events of our Nation's earliest beginnings. The founding of Plymouth Colony-the oldest sustaining English colony in America-and the interaction between the English settlers and the Native Wampanoag are iconic moments that define America's story. In 2020, the world will join us in commemorating the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower voyage and founding of Plymouth Colony, and now you can be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime event and drive America's story with your own Plymouth 400 License Plate. Proceeds from the Plymouth 400 license plate support the planning of the global events and programs that will honor this important American milestone and engage people across the globe in this American story-a National Legacy!
